Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! Yes, this is my favorite holiday. We get together with our families, eat really good homemade food, and you don't have to exchange gifts...What more could you ask for?!

I am very thankful this year, for so many things! First and foremost, my husband. What a wonderful and supportive man! He is absolutely the best!

Next, my novel. Wow, has it come along way, and I am so proud of the work my sister and I have done! I cannot wait to get it launched in the next few months and I really think you guys are going to love it, at least I hope and pray you will.

Then, of course, my beautiful children and grandchildren! I am so blessed to have them in my life. I have learned so much from them and appreciate the love and caring they give me.

Also, my wonderful mother, Carol, and sister, Tanya! I have been blessed with the best in that category too! Also, my brother-in-law, Scotte, my niece, Sonia, and her significant other, Paul. And I cannot forget my nephew, Jim, who is always teaching me that it is okay to be yourself.

I love them all and hope that life is good to each and every one of them.

But, I do have some great friends too! Linda, Jola, Robin, Janet, Jodi, Lizzie, and my friends I haven't seen in a long time, but I get to talk to on Facebook or emails. And, my family all across the country who mean the world to me and I pray they have a wonderful Thanksgiving and miss them all!

My prayers go out to our soldiers and their families who won't be together this year and that they are safe this holiday season. Also, to all the people out there who don't have family to spend this day with. My heart is with you and I pray to find joy on this day.

And, last, but not least, I am grateful for the early Christmas gift I received yesterday from my husband, a 50 inch flat screen TV! That was our combined present to each other and it has a kick ass picture!

Life is good!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! Don't forget to leave me a comment and tell me what you are thankful for.

Love, Lisa

  1. I am thankful for my beautiful, loving children. The friends and family who support me, lift me up, and are there when I laugh and cry.

I'm thankful for having my parents one more day.

I'm thankful for recent success in writing and hopeful for continued success.

Thankful for a roof over my head and food on the table.

Did I mention Dillon and Cassidy...oh, yeah :)

  2. I understand Robin. Wait until they get married and you have to share them with the other side. It isn't fun!

  3. I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving too, and this is a very nice site:)
