Catching Up With Life

It is already turning out to be a busy new year and it's only the 3rd of January. Toni and I are tying up a lot of loose ends though.

We reloaded Fable for the 3rd and (hopefully) last time. We found more mistakes. Not big one's mind you, but enough to effect our OCD side of our personality.

We also are finally getting our outline caught up, both the story and the character one. There has already been a few inconsistencies that we caught and it reminds us again the importance of keeping track of everything. (See, there really is a reason to be a plotter, not a panster!)

We are starting to work on getting a web-site up. We took pictures of a friend of ours that reminds us of Stevie and plan to get Mikey working on a painting of Stevie and Colton for our new site. I'm really looking forward to that!

So, all and all, we have been busy!

Our launch party is January 18th and We are so looking forward to it. Not only for getting Fated in people's hands, but getting everyone together is a lot of fun. Any excuse for a party!

The holiday's were great. Lot's of family time, which is always my motivation. Now, time to settle down and get busy with our next book, Lore.

I'm really excited about how Lore will turn out. We have some great ideas and some knew characters to introduce. We plan to have a lot of conflict and action and hope that Stevie welcomes her Djen side.

As soon as we get a few chapters done, I'll post an excerpt from the book for all of you. Maybe in a couple of weeks. In the mean time, don't forget to check out Fated and give it a read, and after you do, leave us a review. They're really helpful for our ranking and let us know what you thought.

How's your new year going so far? Are you finding you're just as busy?

Leave me a comment below! I love to read them!

Until next week, have a great weekend! Lisa

  1. You two are are relentless. Good for you! It's going to be a great year for you. Our film project is coming along well. We have been in contact with some funding sources. Hope to get same within a couple of months. My cousin and I, resumed our collaboration on our project. Launching date has been scheduled for May of this year. The party will be held in my home town of Brooklyn, NY. Can't get better than that! Blessings.

    1. Yes we are Johnny! We both have a little OCD! Your books are on the way, by the way! Enjoy them! :-)

  2. I always get so nervous when you guys mention "mistakes" after I've edited one of your books! I always bite my nails (figuratively) and wonder if I missed something and hope it wasn't anything horrible. Did I?

    1. No, these were mistakes that Toni made while fixing some stuff a friend of our family found. She was an editor for Satnford for years and an author herself. Her edits were a more personal preference I think. Don't worry about it! your books are on their way! I hope you enjoy them! ;-)
